Apr 10, 2017 After my mac updated to macOS 10.12.4, kdevelop will crash shortly after startup with the following crash log. Recompiling this version on 10.12.4 did not help. Also this happens when opening kdevelop for a different user - that hasn't used kdevelop - on the same machine.

I'm using Kdevelop to create C projects. Now I need to create a C project. In 3.xx versions, I had the option to create C projects, but now I'm using Kdevelop 4.2 and I. Install the kdevelop package.

Plugins

Install plugins to provide autocompletion and other language-specific features:

  • For PHP, install the kdevelop-php package
  • For Python, install the kdevelop-python package

Building additional plugins

The KDevelop Parser Generator (kdevelop-pg-qt package) is required to build additional plugins. Plugins will not compile if this package is not installed beforehand.
